I’ve been posting short stories by the authors whose biographies i’ve been posting here, so that you can sample their work and decide if you want to read more of their work. Today, i have for you a short story, Pecos the Peeler, by B.M. Bower. This appeared in Tom Watson’s Magazine in August 1905, and i think it is representative of her work. Link after the break.
You can read the story here.
You don't hear much about this author, and that's a shame. I have one of her hardbacks in my collection somewhere.
I have all of her books that have been put in ebook format on my Nook. Some are better than others, but Chip of the Flying U is a treat.
